theres still little money in it aapart from 20 guys in the north sea. Job security is a joke as well. I looked into it recently

My thought was it would be a fun part time job when I retire to keep busy when I have other sources of income to pay the bills.
I've heard that Cruise Ship dive instructors get $2-4k a month but includes your living expenses. BTW, the amount has more to do with your sex (women get much more) than your experience or ability to teach.

Well that sounds fine with me!! 
Except it's still too expensive to get started up... well for me anyways. I've already got enough debt from college.

o well ill just have fun, gain experience, and hone my skills till i retire then do it lol
