Thalassamania:
Hey, watches are one of the only things I feel that way about. It must be because I come from an aviation family.<G>
Don't let him change your mind.

I might be looking for a dive watch. I want one that will tell me how deep I am and one that I will be able to use as a beginning diver. I like the looks of the nemo sport and the D3, but I really dont know what to look for any suggestions would be very helpfull. I dont know how much i want to spend.

I personally am looking at this computer/watch:

:D

I'd like to have the Suunto D9 but cannot afford it right now. I am looking for one that is both a computer and a watch. I have an inexpensive momentum watch that is real nice, but it's only a watch.

I bought my husband a Citizen Hyperland watch for his birthday, but it also records depth and dive time, as well as some other features, but I cannot remember them all right now. It was only ~$230 when I got it last month (now $300 from LeisurePro), but it's a nice looking watch as well. I know he loves it as he always tells me so as well as he's always wearing it!

Citizen Aqualand Eco-Drive. Solar powered. You never have to send it back to get the battery changed. Stainless steel with an extra long rubber strap allowing it to be worn outside of a wetsuit or with thick gloves without adding links. I use one of these as a backup to my computer. Works great.

nice watch

we are DIVERS

we are not prima donnas... we do not go to fashion shows!

I'm with you Kev's mate, I would notice that across the bar.

I have that one. Just covet the Titanium band though.

The SS one is just as nice but heavier. 300 dollars grey market from Asia. I passed it to JB and worry about my dive log getting lost.

I use the Citizen Hyper Aqualand, a pretty watch, not too pricey and lots of info ...downside: you need good eyes to see the small displays, especially in dim light (the push button light it has within it isn't very good).

If ordering online, be sure to order the units you want (metric or english) since each watch uses only one system and the one displayed on the website photo may not be the one you actually order (I made that mistake)

Speak for yourself Andy.... I like this:

That WATCH looks great. But it's not a computer is it? Andy has a real computer, I'm pretty sure your watch just does depth and time... but maybe i am wrong.
