I might be looking for a dive watch. I want one that will tell me how deep I am and one that I will be able to use as a beginning diver. I like the looks of the nemo sport and the D3, but I really dont know what to look for any suggestions would be very helpfull. I dont know how much i want to spend.

You might like the aeris line of computer/watches. They function as both a watch and a computer.

i would strongly recommend the NitekPlus watch, now on sale for about $300

you can't beat the price, and it allows you to program two gases per dive. you can grow into this watch as you dive; you will certainly not outgrow it in the immediate future

it is simple to use, can handle Nitrox, and it can easily take you through advanced nitrox and deco procedures, if you should ever decide to go that route

the best thing about this watch is that it will grow with you if you want to, or you can just use it as is for a logn time to come

At 299 that's a great deal ... too bad it's butt ugly.

hey it grows on you

actually, it looks a lot better in person

So does fungus. I'll admit it; I'm a bit of a watch snob. But it would be neat (and worth an extra $50 to $100) to have those guts in a nice metal case with a metal band.

we are DIVERS

we are not prima donnas... we do not go to fashion shows!

we dive!

a brick with a sundial on it would do, only if it worked under water!

Hey, watches are one of the only things I feel that way about. It must be because I come from an aviation family.<G>
