didn't they cover this in your nitrox course?

R..

In my nitrox course, they covered the "how to compute odd percentages" for MOD, EAD, etc., but they didn't address how to compute the percentage that should be in the tank. Fortunately, I learned that years ago in Physics.

That wasn't his question.

that has a fill protocol that allows gas in the tank back up the whip isn't one that you want to do business with in the first place. Its a bad practice and should not be done.

That solves that problem.

hmmm...You should let global in on that. Every shop in the world that uses a global "air" manifold, which is a turn key product, has a system that cam potentially allow this to happen. There is no check valve and the manifold is not designed for use with enriched air. I've never heard of any one having a problem with it.

Oh. It sounded like you weren't sure how to use the normal tables with Nitrox. What you seem to be talking about is blending. GAP can do what you want. There are probably other programs too. Or you can just top off with air and use an O2 meter to see what you got.

I can potentially do it too with my system at home, BUT I DON'T!

Ro: I was taught to use the tables in the Nitrox class. :)

I was talking about computing the mix....

You're right. I confused you with the person who started the thread. You answered a question I posed to that person and I didn't realise it wasn't hte same person. Never mind then.
