Welcome to ScubaBoard,

Why not introduce yourself and tell us your best dive story :)

My name is Alex. One of my favorite stories was diving in the Turks during certification. We did our skills, and then explored the reef. The DM kept pointing at something in the coral, but I had no idea what he was talking about. We sat at stared for what felt like forever, though it was probably only 30 seconds, until I finally saw a big, spine covered lobster. After seeing it, I couldn't (and still can't) understand how I sat there clueless for so long!

Anyway, thanks for the reply, and I look forward to everyone's responses! :)

Groovy

Yeah we dive together side by side never knowing what the other finds
unless you both end up with your faces pressed against a shipwreck or a whale

Yeah. There's so much down there that I wonder just how much I missed - What magnificent things were right in front of my face only to go unnoticed? :(
