Dive Slate Material

I'm doing some research, does anyone know the type of plastic a dive slate is made of? I want to make one.

Make one. Get an old Clorox Bleach bottle; clean thoroughly; cut off top, cone, bottom; cut remaining bottle into four pieces; drill four holes; slip bungee cord through holes and knot. Get a pencil; secure it with surg tube. Place on arm. Write.
