would like to dive there sometime this summer,i have a camper parked 30 min from there at my hunting lease,and a bass boat to dive from but would have to use the troll motor.

Another GA diving option is Clark Hill Lake (Lake thurmond) just above Augusta GA. See my recent reports in Dixie divers and Winter diving in the South thread. We have a great lake and river dive, about 2.5 hours from Atlanta on one of the largest and most ignored lakes on the east coast. Today at E. Dam (SC side) I saw 3 boats in the distance. Great campgrounds. A airplane to dive in the lake and a river with a lot of history. PM me for details.
