Aeris Manta is discontinued, they may support it, but its discontinued for a reason
Sherwood doesn't make computers, I believe Oceanic actually makes it, but it is 2 gas with only DSAT algorithm
Geo 2.0 is currently made, has 2 algorithms, and is made by the largest computer manufacturer in the industry.

Guess what I'm going to recommend?

No guessing required … Oceanic Geo 2.

Given all three computers retail for about the same hopefully the shop will
follow through with your request and not what works best for them.

Geo 2 for all the above reasons stated.

Keep us posted.

There used to be a LDS in town (sadly went out of business back in 2006) that had a custom pressure pot with clear top/viewing port that they filled with water and could actually take a newly serviced dive computer on a simulated dive at depth to check for leaks and correct operation 'at depth'.

You might mention to the owner that you have done him a favor by letting him know that his repair services need better training or monitoring of work standards, or possibly both. A valid customer complaint is an opportunity to improve your business.
