I'm a Fish!
Hello divers. :)

Where can I buy Dive Rite RG2500 ICE Regulator maintenance parts?

if you're overseas, any Dive Rite dealer is supposed to sell them to you and should have them in stock

I was told by the guy I buy my dive rite regs from that the parts in the US are free. Not sure if it's true but that's what he told me.

I'm pretty sure that is incorrect.
I guess it could have been dirty marketing or he was just hooking me up. He might also just charge more for the labor and add the price of the parts in but that is what he told me. Who knows.... He might not remember telling me. I guess I only have a couple regs for travel/deco bottles so I guess it won't kill me either way.

I dug this up from some googling:

Dec 17th 2012 Notice:
With the release of the new XT Regulator, Dive Rite will be discontinuing the service kits for life program. Due to increasing fraudulent claims involving other manufacturers' parts, and repetitive serial number use, we will not be offering no-charge replacement parts kits on these regulators. For this same reason, we will no longer publish our regulator service manuals on the DiveRite.com website. The regulator itself will carry Dive Rite's limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

**Dive Rite will continue to honor service kits for life on 2500 / 3000 / 3100 series regulators to the original REGISTERED owner when the service is completed by an authorized Dive Rite dealer with a factory trained technician. Original Dive Rite parts MUST be returned to validate warranty.

yeah, so that's different than free parts. Only to the original registered owner when completed by an authorized dealer with technician. Very different than free parts.

that's pretty much how all of the free parts programs from any manufacturer has worked. i don't think the op was saying that he expected DR to provide free kits so he can service his own regs.
