I thought maybe we could share our dive goals for 2005.

I will:

1. Complete the NAUI Master Diver class in 2005

2. Log at least 50 total dives in 2005

3. Log at least 20 cave dives in 2005

4. Go to at least 3 ScubaBoard get-togethers in Florida

5. Go on a tropical dive vacation in the Caribbean

I will:
Stop smoking.
Lose at least 10 kgs weight so that doubles are easier to carry.
Do Intro to Cave (as long as I managed the last two) - maybe Full cave too - if not this year next.
Start diving some of the caves that Akio MtFuji has found in Japan and are still almost virgin.

Hmmm....

1) Dive more to become a better diver.
2) Do my rescue if I achieve #1
3) Get fitter/lose weight
4) Master buoyancy.

I think that's it!

Nauticalbutnice :fruit:

1.Dive More
2.Find a man who's non aquaphobic for once(yes i am that lucky in love)
3.Perfect my buoyancy
4.Go to Cozumel or Palau
5.Use more of the dive tables to calculate so i won't keep forgetting how to use it.

I think that's more then enough to keep me busy until 2006

I will:
1. Finish rescue course this month.
2. Take advanced nitrox course.
3. Go on at least 2 dive vacations that require a passport.
4. Log 150 dives or more.
5. Lose the holiday 10 I have gained in unnecessary boyancy :11: .

Great post. I make similar resolutions in 2003 and it was a great motivator for the whole year. OK, here goes:

1. Help down4fun lose her holiday ten. LOL
1a. Complete stress/rescue course and get recertified in CPR
2. Cross over training with PADI
3. Become nitrox certified
4. Do more yakay diving
5. Take cavern diving courses in the Springs
6. Take a minimum of one dive trip each month (local in FL)
7. Log 50+ new dives this year
8. Take at least one Carribbean dive trip this year.
9. Go to the Keys at least for 3-4 day dive weekends
10. Take a wreck diving class and do my first "official" wreck dive.

Maybe you want to finish your intro cert first ;)

As for me:
1. Log 150+ dives (beat my 100 hope last/first)
2. Possibly do adv nitrox/deco, apprentice cave, rescue & DM certs
3. Get in control of my drysuit and get plenty of use out of it in holes in the ground ;)
4. Continue to work my way through the Underwater Florida book list of dives and dive with more divers from the Conch forum as well as the rest of SB
5. Dive again in SoCal, head off to HI, PNW and Great Lakes too
6. Lose another 10# and keep it off
7. To stop spending money on dive gear - yeh right, but i have pretty much all i need ;)

Well i have a good chance on almost all of those, except one - guess which one.

My resolution is to buy more gear to start local cold water diving and get my AOW.
Of course throw in a couple of tropical vacations for some warm water diving.
