Any updates on how the dive conditions are?

I'm thinking about heading down this weekend and staying for a week, if I can find a reasonably priced place to stay.

incoming tide
water temp 73
vis 8 to 15 ft, lots of algae on the sea floor
seas calm but cloudy day
saw nurse shark, few small finds
with dkramer

Were you guys off Alhambra? You musta been the other flag out there. Did it clear up further out, in close vis wasn't near that.
 
No, we were at S. Brohard. Ever since they did beach renourishment, I have found that viz is better farther south.
 
it was bad at Alhambra. Also, I was surprised to find the reef balls half buried.
