we have a habit of saying to divers to watch their heads when in water because we are diving on boats that have outriggers. our boatmen, who have been accostomed to our procedures mis pronounced it & told the divers to "WASH YOUR HEAD" :D
 
My sister and her husband were boarding a boat for a dive and they were waiting for some people from Britian. My sister, ever the space cadet, saw them coming and said "The british are coming." Her husband fell out. I guess its two lanterns now. One if by land and two if by sea.
 
This happened when I was a brand-new diver on my first dive trip. The Dive Op. owner/Captain asked me if my Rolex was "real" just before we descended. I said it was. So, he yells to his DM,
"Hey Pierre, if accident happen, bring back de watch!"
We're good friends now. I think.
 
A short dive quote ... "I can dive that" or "I already dived that" or even shorter...

"I doodit". :D
