Great pics! I think sharptail eels are the hardest to photograph because the sand and bright colors result in so much backscatter and overexposed pics. I believe the spotted eel in question is a goldentail with reverse colors.

Can I ask what camera you are using?

- Canon G12
- Ikelite Housing
- Ikelite DS-161 Substrobe (just one)
- Inon UCL-165 for the supermacro stuff like the nudibranchs

You can get all the EXIF info on flickr. For any given shot, click "Canon Powershot G12" over on the right just under the date.
