I was very impressed by Extended Horizons on our trip there and would wholeheartedly recommend them for both excursions and training. They run a first-rate shop.
I'd second the nod to Extended Horizons if they will do DM training. Eric Stein is a fantastic owner and generally has a very top notch staff. It is typically done as an internship so hopefully you will have an extended period of time to work with the shop of choice. If you can reach out to Rachel at Maui Dreams in Kihei she is fantastic and I've been very impressed with the staff there. They may do more training than Extended Horizons. I know she will be very happy to help. Good luck!
