I bought mine on eBay......"inexpensive" too. Cost me more to ship it than to buy it but it was still half the cost of an LDS' price. Looking back, a binder from staples and a dive sticker is a way better deal.

YMMV

Yeah so i went with that option b/c on a student's budget its just not feasible. Thanks for the help everybody!

I hate to ask this but why did you get into diving if the budget is soooo tight that you can't support a dive shop for a simple dive log binder?

hey,

After trying to find little log book pages to fit into my old logs, I decided to modify them.

I took the old logs sheets I was using (ACUC in this case), scanned them and enlarged them so they would fit on a standard 8 x 11 sheet of paper.

Then I can just print them out or photocopy as many as I need, punch holes in them, and then stick them in a standard 3-ring binder, which you can stick all kinds of dive stickers on.

Just my two cents! but it works pretty well for me.

cheers!

as to why im diving, A to interact with the creatures i love B the sport is asome and C its a requirement for my careeer (ie shark biologist) as for the whole "budget" thing, being a student you only have so much money available to spend, i just cant see myself spending a ton of money on a binder, i dont mind spending money to get decent equipment but a binder is a different issue entirely. Also i do support my LSD, i dive regualarly with them and i have purchsed all of my equipment through them

Ok, thanks for the explanation. Good luck in your career choice. It sounds quite interesting.

It really does sound interesting but where I am stuck is the fact that I have done hundreds of Ontario dives and missed all the sharks
