Seatrek is a nice little shop. They rent tanks and gear as well as all your fills. While I am a fan of Scuba Quest if your only going to dive the rocks and the sugar barge you might as well just use Seatrek.
 
I called Seatrek and Scuba Quest and checked on dive guide service. Scuba Quest only offered dive masters for $75, forget that. Seatrek offers guide service for $40. Were staying on Lido Key so Seatrek is just up the road.
I typed in spanish rocks on google earth and it zoomed right in on the parking lot and the reef. Now I got it in my gps. At about 2 km eye altitude out you can see the reef.
It looks like you park in the lot, go south down the beach 8 houses and swim straight out. Is it that easy??
 
Its that easy. Its only 6 houses though. You will see a house with large glass panels facing the water. Thats where you make your entry. Then just head due west.
