I'm a Fish!
Just want to say... if your looking for a over the top dive shop.... I can not be more pleased with them...

From the minute the wife and I got here, I felt like I was at home....:) From the dive park briefing with Oscar to the check dive with Devin... Which was just him looking at us from the pier and saying... Your good to go after watching my wife hover in 5' of water checking how her weighting was... ;) And then there is Tim and Will.... Both have great senses of humor and make you fell like it's been your local dive shop for years... They are also helpful with local knowledge and lending a helping hand when needed.... tanks are always filled right to 3000+ psi... None of the old 2800/ 2900 psi fillings I got at most of my other dive trip tank rentals... And last but surely not least, There is Martin.... Nicest guy, I was check pressures on the tanks and one was just a smidgen below 3000 psi... And he said " Let me top that off for you " .... Diving with a rental shop can't get any easier then this.. Walk in, sign out the tanks and go...

And they all love my 1978 conshelf XIV's that we dive.... Martin was like... " Boy you take good care of your gear, They look new " instead of the " That's old junk, Let me sell you a new regulator set..."

Have been to all their shops and all are friendly... But Martin, Will, Devin and Tim are truly great and I'm sure dive friends for a long time ... As we are already planning your return to Bonaire...

Jim....

I use Dive Friends exclusively when on Bonaire. And you only have to log the nitrox tanks. With air you just drop off empties and pick up full tanks. Also they have two really nice sites - one at Yellow Submarine (I often re-dive it later in the trip even though I do my checkout dive there) and Cliff (just a bit north of town. The mini-wall there is cool.

Can't wait to get back and see my friends at Coco Palm Garden (where I stay) and Dive Friends. Couldn't ask for more accomodating and friendly people.

Ah, I didn't realize until Kharon's post that the shop you were referring to is Dive Friends! I'll have to give them a look when I'm back down there.

My group usually uses other dive ops, but we will be using Dive Friends Bonaire for the first time when we are down there in a few weeks because they are the on-site op for Hamlet Oasis where we're staying. Actually, the good reviews of DFB was one factor in our choice of Hamlet. Looking forward to using them.
