SANDY HOOK MEMORIAL DIVE

Please join Newtown Underwater Search and Rescue (NUSAR), public safety divers, and emergency first responders from around the globe in a dive in memory of the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School and in honor of all the first responders who answered the call or who have ever answered the call of duty.

All divers and the public are welcome. Dutch Springs will be open that day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The cost/donation is $36 for divers and $10 for non-divers (normal rates for Dutch Springs)

All proceeds from the entrance fees will be generously donated to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund https://newtown.uwwesternct.org/

A “candle light” vigil will take place at 11:00am with a dive to the school bus with 26 divers to honor the 26 victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School. If you would like to take part in this dive, please contact us at nusarct@gmail.com.

There will also be a raffle for equipment generously donated by participating manufacturers and dive shops. If you would like to make a donation, please contactnusarct@gmail.com.

Weather Forecast for Saturday is 46 and Sunny. Perfect weather for a winter dive for charity.

Also DUI is going to be supplying some drysuits for those who are drysuit certified or with an instructor.
