Pretty good! Shops getting busy, boats getting ready (yeah, I'm behind), and Kelly's about to pop. You hittin the water yet?
You are having another? Congratulations. We are splashing on May 22nd. The weather
stinks until then anyway so I don't rush the season anymore. This boat take a bit more work than the other one too. Hey what would you say if I said this: Tree Coin #2

We typically pay $75 to $110 in the Florida Panhandle depending on where we are going for that type of diving.

Summary: from information received on this site and others, the consensus is that a 10 mile off shore dive trip should cost between $125- $140 considering the price of fuel. (some captains have fuel adders)
Amenities include; captain, divemaster, air/nitrox, comfortable space for down time that may include TV, radio/music, food or drink for fee and predive site/ dive review(movie, photo's)
Spearfishing and sportfishing should be an option but may have restrictions or be limited to secondary site.

Thanks for your input,
Jim

Too bad you're so far away. In northern RI/southern MA we've got a little dive club that runs their boat out to local wrecks from 10 to 20 miles for 30 bucks;) .

I do miss those Club boat dives. The cost to get out to my local favorite wreck, Bayronto a 30 mile run, has jumped to $150.

So running out to the U-boat for $30 seems like a deal right about now;). We may go to $40 if the fuel prices continue climbing. On another note, we miss having you aboard. Maybe this summer you guys can head back up here to the north and we can get some diving in.

Talk to you later.

In Jersey, for a dive like that, you're talking $75-85. $10 extra if you want to sleep on the boat the night before to avoid having to get up at the @ss-crack of dawn. :)
