What would you expect topay for a 6 pak operator to take you to a near shore (10miles) site for a 2-3 tank dive on a decent wreck. Vis is OK, normally 30-60 feet, plenty of good fish etc.
Thanks for any response.

why a six pack operation.
and around here... its like 125 ish for opearations to go out to 10 ish miles

well allw me to elaaborate.
thsi is the charter operation im part of.

125 (subject to a fuel surcharge as fuel prices have been fluxuating)
that goes as far athe the wreck of te U-853 about 12-15 miles.
its a all day charter so how people plan tere dives is up to them.
we have a head, shower, hot coffee, hot choclate. snacks (fruit. rice crispy treats, pretzles. that kinda stuff.) and have a big cooler full of ice, and a big water cooler.
insde the salon with TV DVD so on surface intervals people can watch there video that they shot, of just watch a movie or local TV we get off out antenna
plenty of room for people to sit, or take naps if they want.
our prioces are comprable and in some cases outright better than any of the other local charters, but there all smaller boats that dont have the acomadations we provide.
We do everytthing we can to make it a great day for everyone and more of a experence than a trip...

Heres the website for more info.

Too bad you're so far away. In northern RI/southern MA we've got a little dive club that runs their boat out to local wrecks from 10 to 20 miles for 30 bucks;) .

If fuel prices don't calm down you can expect boats to start raising prices (again). Remember $3/gal at the pump is $4-$6 on the water. And if you noticed diesel is not cheaper than gasoline, at least up north.
