Okay, The wedding date, Sept 18th, is coming up real quick, and Wavingirl, my fiancee wanted to do the Disney Land/ Sea package for the honeymoon. Worked for me since I am a certified Disney fanatic, and had never been on a cruise. But she is getting certified open water before we leave, and I was hoping we could get some Bahammas dives in while on the cruise portion.

My question is this, has anybody ever been on the Disney cruises, and if so, were you able to fit in a dive or two and HOW did you do it, where did you go. I've scoured the Disney usenet groups, and havent really found my answer. Thanks for any and all assistance.

If you are touring Disney on land before/after the cruise, did you consider Disney "Dive Quest" at Epcot? Sounds like a blast. Like to try this one myself just for giggles. http://www.naui.org/NAUI_DiveQuestInfo.html

Ihave not been on a Disney cruise, but family members have and I believe you have enough shore time to dive. You can call the cruiseline and ask about any scuba diving shore excursions they may have. Also Dive Quest at the Living Seas is a good idea too.

I have been on the Disney Cruises several times... plenty of time for diving.... Their trips from the ship are not as good as what you could book privately, big difference is, go with them and they will hold the boat if you aren't back on time.... go privately and you take a small risk.... let the dive op know that you are on the cruise and they generally work around it. Enjoy the cruise its fantastic fun!
