Long hose???

The Atomic Aquatics M1 would have been a better "DIR" choice as the M1 second stage lacks the "Comfort Swivel" feature and can be fitted with the "stainless steel cave ring." The T2 is just pointlessly expensive, imho.

Lamont is right in saying that the Atomic hose routing is just like Scubapros - specifically piston first stage with turret, such as the Scubapro MK V/10/20/25 and Oceanic BP/PX-3, etc.

Log-splitter, from your pics, I am assuming that your setup is for single tank diving. You can find very detailed MK25 hose routing pics (last three pictures, scroll down on left side of page) for a single tank setup below:

When I was diving with ScubaPros on a single I turned the first stage so it "pointed" to the diver's right, had the SPG running out the bottom, backup running out the side, the long house running straight down and a longer then normal LP hose running back around the tank valve then over my shoulder. Makes the LP hose a little odd, but it actually routes all of the hoses really nicely, nicer then having the first stage in the normal position actually. I never tried it diving dry, but I imagine it wouldn't work with the extra hose.

The backup generally is run under the inflator hose on doubles. The pics shown indicate just the opposite. I have used Apeks, SP and Atomic and all three configurations work better with the backup under.

I believe Peter Steinhoff posted an article recently on his site where he shows the preferred routing and explains his reasoning which does match what I learned under GUE as well as what I have experienced.
