What alternatives are there to attaching the snap-bolt to the primary regulator and the SPG per DIR requirements for breakaway?

My Halcyon dealer sets it up with cheap looking white, nylon cord.

Does anyone make a "professional" product or is there another alternative?

Cave line is the "professional" product. I don't see the need for a breakaway and use cave line myself. I used o-rings for a while, but they always broke when they were not supposed to.

WHat is the knot made from? In other words... is this twine? rope? What is the best choice?
