I tried to find DIR folks around there before as well. I don't live there but I do have family. I didn't have much luck, although Amascuba here on the boards lives somewhat close I think. I think he lives in Lubbock.

I will be in San Antonio in a few weeks but the wife already denied any scuba stuff in our luggage. It's our first time traveling with a baby. She's scared I'll pay more careful attention to my can light than our child. (Well, those bulbs are expensive!!)

For some reason, DIR is powerfully unpopular amongst the Texans I see posting on the board. I don't know if it's the wide open spaces, the cacti, or what, but my experience is that they are aggressively anti-DIR.
