ShakaZulu:Are you guys working on you post counts???
California Diver:the only reason why shaka psots so much is to show off his awesome avatars.
greg1:John Chatterton is an accomplished NE wreck, the host of Deep Sea Detectives John is a real nice guy and good diver. By trade he is a commercial diver, I dont know if many people on this tread know that. He has a high comfort for being in places that would make most divers s*** their dry suits, like the U-WHO (U-869).
Dan is the skipper of the Seeker, a dive boat based in NJ, I have been on it many times. In recent years he took the brunt of the impact the Doria deaths in 01 or 02. The majority of people that died that year were either under trained, or in poor physical condition. (whole different thread) Needless to say, it has become much harder to make it to the Doria, captains now see it as too big a liability.
Both Dan and John were on the Britannic 98 expedition. They captured some good still and video footage.
scuba11b:I've been checking out the board for a few weeks and finally registered. I am wondering what exactly is DIR? I've seen it referred to in many posts but I'm not sure what it is.
Thanks in advance,
California Diver:is dir f like padi peak performance buoyancy or not, is it worth the money?
California Diver:i think what he meant was the cave was 200 miles long and he dove a part of it. anyway back to my original idea of posting here... is dir f like padi peak performance buoyancy or not, is it worth the money?
