DIN wheel on Apeks DST interfering with swivel

I think Chris mentioned that is why HOG designed the D3 as they did.

The turret is smaller than the body so the Din connection does not interfere with the turret.
The problem is not the diameter of the turret. It is the separation between the end of the DIN wheel and the LP ports. Either the DIN inlet needs to move closer to the end of the body or the turret needs to extend farther (or longer body).
 
Do you need it to turn 360?

Need? No. But more convenient, yes.

I can recall a few situations where I struggled with my hoses and where a fully rotating turret would have made it a non-issue. I'll admit though that these were total newbie mistakes and wouldn't have arrisen with a little bit more attention to detail when setting up my gear.
 
I was surprised to see what appears to my eye to be a flaw in the design that can be easily fixed.
