Din or Yoke first stage regulator for a pony bottle

Building a pony bottle, and I come to the part where I'm not sure which to use. I have a spare yoke first stage but I normally dive a Din. I know I could buy one of those tank valves that are designed for ponies but I haven't seen enough reviews to bite the bullet. What are your views on this, I'd like to hear. Thanks

I went DIN on mine. More secure and a bit less bulky slinging under the arm.

DIN for lass bulk, just convert the yoke first to DIN and you’re good to go.

Disclaimer ... I've not used a Yoke regulatory since my initial OW course. I hate them. FAR prefer DIN and won't use anything else.

Din, although I would make sure you get a valve with the removable din insert if you plan on traveling with the pony. I have came across places to fill mine that are only setup to fill with a yoke connection.

DIN!!!! Depending on what first stage you have, you can get a DIN connector to replace the Yoke/INT connector you have and you will be all set.

Just buy a pony bottle with a convertible valve. Use your yoke reg until you either convert it to DIN or sell it and buy a reg that is already DIN.

DIN, with the provision that you pretty much always want a standardized tank farm for convenience. So in your case, also DIN.
