Does anybody know if there are 2 different model din adapters
for scubapro 1st stage. I have a mk15 with an all metal din adapter & also mk20 that has a plastic wheel type din adapter. I resently purchased another mk15 & looking to buy another din adapter for it.
My question is, are they 2 different types of din adapters or
are they both the same?

If they are not the same then I guess I will have to buy the all metal one.

Help would be apreciated
THANK YOU

There is an all metal DIN converter listed on EBay (03/07/04) right now for $42.95 plus $5.25 S/H. Cheaper than the $79.99 MSRP your LDS will ask for the plastic version.

Funny you should ask. I just called Extreme Exposure in High Springs wondering the same thing and was told the SP DIN conversion kit was universal to their first stages. I needed one for an old MK10+ that needs converting.

Hi,

I have an Mk10 I want to change to DIN, and was wondering how that all metal DIN adapter worked for you?

Thanks.

Kevin

Steve Blanchard:
Since the adapter on ebay is not to expensive 45$ us
instead of 120$ can, I will just buy it & try it out.
I will let you guys know how it turns out.

Hi, I bought the adapter on ebay but the seller never
e-mailed me back to complete the transaction so I never
got the metal DIN adapter.

Since then I asked arround & everyboby tells me that the only
1st stage that needs a different model DIN is the MK2, all
other sp 1stages have the same adapter & there is no
difference between the all metal one & the plastic wheel one.

Hope this helps you out.

Steve

I bought the metal ebay one for a MK5 that I just got. The ebay adapter will not fit it, the ebay adapter is for a MK10.
The universal adapter will fit all of them except the MK2.

Yes! I picked one up and just happen to have a lone MK10 that is in need of one. I wasn't sure, but it looks like the gamble paid off.

If it doesn't fit your Mk5, do you want to unload it? If you want to sell, PM me a price.
