stop wasting your time trying to determine the physics of the issue which is very complex

You know, physics and intellectual exercise can be fun too...

(And seasoning common sense with a healthy dose of doubt can be a good idea as well, unless you want to end up rolling nitrox tanks).

Rick Murchison did this experiment. It ran weeks, as I recall.

I thought he gave up after weeks, i.e. they don't mix.
