Dear all,

Would those who have experience in DUI drysuits tell me the differences of different DUI drysuit models and their best usage? Models considering: CF200. CLX450, CLX SE, FLX50/50, FLX Extreme, TLS350.

Many thanks.

CF200: crushed neoprene. very heavy, takes a long time to dry. really durable though. my instructor has had his for over 15 years and it is still going strong (when he manages to squeeze into it)
TLS350: trilam. this suit is light and dries amazingly quick. The material feels much more delicate than it is, regrettably I have run up on wrecks and things with it but haven't punctured it.
FLX Extreme: trilam. this material feels tougher than the 350. a bit heavier and takes slightly longer to dry than the 350 (but not by much). this is the suit that I own and dive.
CLX450: I've been hands on with it, but haven't actually done a dive with the suit. Much heavier than the 350 but less than the CF. thats all I can really say about it.
CLXSE: shoulder entry version of the 450. no exp.
FLX 50/50: from my understanding it is the FLX top w/ the CF bottom. no exp.

I hope this helps. I tried to provide info that I know from first hand experience.

I can only comment about the TLS350. After mine had numerous leaks from nearly day one, DUI said that it may not be the appropriate suit for the environment I dive in. I do mostly deep ocean diving so take from that what you like.

Best

I own a CF200 I like it. Very durable, does talk a while to dry. It was very easy to transition into from a wet suit. Like the zipseals. Recently tried the electric liner. Works great kept me warm with less insulaton.
