Wow, you asked shops and they can't get it? It seems the world is a bit crazy right now, and perhaps they want to wait until they actually have an arrival estimate. I had good luck with that giant retailer in north-eastern Spain in the past when I emailed them for very specific parts, which they then got for me.

lol ! Hi Darrell

T1: original
Jet seat then introduced, and has by now been upgraded in most first stages (round rubber bumper)
Monel HP seat retainer then introduced

T1x: Came environmentally sealed. Piston changed from SS to Monel. Yoke bolt changed to protected HP oring for unrestricted Nitrox use.

T2: Unsealed; some oring changes to brown FKM; Monel seal retainer may have changed somewhere along here, tho' part number unchanged.

T2x: Sealed; main spring metal upgraded somewhere along here; spring lots serialized; new knob; HP seat retainer now Monel; revised seat retainer o-ring; piston shaft o-ring went to black with white dot from brown FKM; filter now conical from flat (though most regs already switched due to kits)

Upgrades of previous versions before T1x supposed to be done at factory rather than with an upgrade kit, so factory can also ensure that the seal retainer and seal stack spring are also changed.

T3: Sealed; new lighter yoke shape; new knob; really just cosmetics and improved Comfort Swivel

TFX: Sealed; new coarse-thread yoke knob for faster tightening (that has occasionally suddenly loosened at low tank pressure); new knob; new yoke (to accommodate new knob threading).

If you're going to use a T1, you have to have a new Jet piston. You should have a new yoke bolt to protect the oring for Nitrox; Monel vs SS Jet Seat piston is a toss-up IMO; you should have a new main spring, new stack seal, new stack spring. Doing all of that to an original T1 can cost you a fair bit.

The T1 and T1x first stages were the same. Original sharp SS piston, unsealed, all Ti parts except for the swivel retainer and seal retaining washer (and washer for DIN) were monel. The only difference was the second stage bling.

The T2 first stage came with the Jet seat piston. The T2 second stage the new case. Same with the B2 and Z2. The T2x is when the rest of the monel parts came along so to be air and nitrox, namely the seat retainer and piston and was sealed.

Upgrades of previous versions were T2 and before. Otherwise they were to be air or nitrox but not both.
