FWIW..

I did my buckle a little different.. like this:

http://dir-diver.com/en/equipment/backplate_adjustment.html

Otherwise looks good in the pics, have someone locally take a look..
Actually, I did look at that link but the slot set-up was different. I read Tobin's other posts and I think (I hope, anyway) that the buckle is threaded through the webbing as I posted. So far, it doesn't slip. Could be wrong, though.

Try passing just the LP hose through the inner tube, not the corrigated hose.

A bungie loop under the dring works well also.

Will try that and see how it works. BTW, sweet set-up and I'm glad I went with your product. Rigging the hog harness wasn't too hard except when passing it through the slots on the bottom of the plate (really grips that webbing).

Will get the whole thing wet when my reg comes back from the shop. Also will need to get a 7mm suit so I can adjust it properly. I only have a 3mm and I don't think it's the right thickness for Monterrey :D .

I might be seeing this wrong, but is the innertube that is around your corrugated hose around the webbing too? I know its late, but I've never seen this before??? Can you clarify, please?

Actually, yes it is. Tobin suggested to use it around the LP hose instead of the corrugated hose. It's pretty tight if you use it around the corrugated hose.

Do you have that buckle on backwards? In the third pic is your left hand on the free(short) end of the webbing?

I threaded my buckle a little differently. Since it only has 2 slots on the left hand side, instead of 3, you must thread it differently than the other pics that were posted. I started by going from the front of the buckle through the second slot, underneath and up through the right hand slot, then loop back under the buckle and go up through the first slot on the left. This gets the tail going back to the left, and I secured that to the webbing using one of the pieces of innertube.

Nope, just holding it by the webbing that's coming from the backplate. The other side is still long since I didn't want to cut anything until I've made final adjustments for a 7mm suit.

Hey, I never thought of that. That just may be the better way of threading it. Thanks. The drawing helps, I'm more of a visual guy when it comes to learning new stuff.
