Got my DSS rig and I think I got it rigged OK but looking for second opinion. Browsing through numerous threads here and I think I got the gist of it but not too sure since this is the first time I've ever set-up a BP/W. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

that is how I too rigged mine. But then again I just got my DSS a month a go and have only taken it in to the pool one time. So I definitely would get a couple other opinions.

Do you think the inflator is a little short? I'm gonna have to get rid of the bike tire deal to hold it in place and replace it with a bungee. The tire material is a little too tight for my comfort.

seems ok from here.

if it rubs your upper arms, you can undo the bottoms, cross the straps behind your head, and re-thread. that brings the straps closer to your neck, helpful if you're thinner across the shoulders side-to-side. (i have to, 'cause i'm a weakling girl.)

the only thing missing is a ppd tag....coming soon

Ditto on the buckle. CLOSE UP.

Have you dived it yet? Let us know what you think when you do!

Try passing just the LP hose through the inner tube, not the corrigated hose.

A bungie loop under the dring works well also.

FWIW..

I did my buckle a little different.. like this:

http://dir-diver.com/en/equipment/backplate_adjustment.html

Otherwise looks good in the pics, have someone locally take a look..

I think that buckle is a little different than the ones in those links. I bought one of those a while ago too. It has two of the slots next to each other then the third is at the other end of the buckle rather than having the three slots together. It makes the buckle "point" towards the divers left when it is closed rather than to the right.
