I personally think that PHD is one of the better SBDers. Since I have been on here he has always been in very good humor about everything. Some of these other petty SOBs attack people anytime they either ask a question or state an opinion that they dont believe in. Most of the aforesaid dont even have 100 dives under there belt. Heck it takes that long to get yor bouyancy straight. LEAVE PHD ALONE.

You have a point, once you get by his obsessive/compulsive behavior, his self absorbed immaturity and his fixation with Denise, there might be an ok person in there somewhere.

But given his propensity to run away and hide at the first sign of people not agreeing with him, would suspect we will not be seeing much of him.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't been online for as long as I have by having a thin skin.

You find all sorts of folks on the internet, sometimes you come across some with misdirected aggression. You learn to roll with it.

On the other hand, you also get to meet some great people, like most the folks that post in these threads. Nothing beats a group of peers that can make fun, and be made fun of.

You guys certainly outnumber the small but vocal group of negative posters.

I just signed up for my SSI underwater photography class as well with 4 others (EA Nitrox, deep dive, limited vis/night, navigation) for advanced diver cert so I will be on my way quickly to Master Diver!!! Only will be classed at Specialty diver as I don't have 25 logged dives yet or whatever it is for Advanced.

It's great that you are ambitious and want to go far in your diving. But, what makes a good diver is actually diving. The more experience, the better you will be able to utilize the skills that you are taught in your advanced classes. So definitely have a good time and take your time to master what you are taught.

Danke! Though my dive to Vortex got canceled for this week end But I will still be diving in Cancun in may. I try to get at least 4-6 dives in a year.... but I think I will need to start randomly going with my shop to local dives places as I don't have the money to go on a nice trip to an exotic location.
