Wow Roy!! Those pics are amazing!! You truly capture the beauty of the underwater life and the incredible visibility. Words just can't express it like your pics can. I want to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Book your February cruise now Denise! Leave New Orleans on the 21st and get back in time to start taxes. Better yet, go down for Mardi Gras the week before and sleep it off before the cruise.

I have never been on a cruise but I just don't think I would like it as well as I would spending that money on either a liveaboard or another trip where you walk right out of your hotel room and dive. On a regular cruise I wouldn't get to dive everyday. :(

Yeah forget the stupid cruise ships. Liveaboard is the way to go for all divers. Plus, not alot of people on liveaboards either as oppose to non-divers asking stupid questions or the boat leaves too. :D

If you want to dive 5+ times a day, a liveaboard is the way to go.

If you want to sit on a beach after the dive, then a resort is the way to go. many have onsite dive shops, so do 2 dives in the morning and drink the afternoon away.

a cruise boat is just a big floating hotel, bar, casino that lets you off every day or two in a location for about 5-6 hours. yes you can dive when you get there, but there isn't much time to do anything else in that port/destination before you have to get back on the boat again before it leaves.
