The tank boot was obscuring the certification info so i couldnt read the labeling. However i believe they said they are ISO tanks so they legit in most places, including US. I talked to my buddy at the PSI booth who quizzed them and he said they had done their homework on tanks.I am curious if the cylinder is DOT/CTC etc.
They will offer a kit for hydro testing. The top and bottom fittings are removed and replaced with a plug and an adapter.And how the hydro test would go.

Sorry the US code specifies DOT. Regards Hydro, any plugs etc for would have to be approved by DOT for any hydro facility to legally perform a test.

yes, but ISO by itself does NOT replace DOT, and ISO and other international certified cylinders are only permitted to be transported under certain permitted situations (think ships/aircraft in transit type stuff).No idea what sotus means.
ISO is a recognized standard for tanks. Check your copy of the federal register.
I think the whole design is destined to fizzle for several reasons but apparently they have worked out the details regarding certs, vip and testing.
I am skeptical about the durability of carbonfiber wrapped tanks and prologed immersion but they do hold up for fire departments, who are not gentle.
Hydrotest Products werent at the show. Would have loved to hear their take.
