It makes no sense but this is what orbitz shows now. Fly MIA to Bon thru Atlanta $337.00. If you fly from Atlanta to Bon on the same dates same Atlanta Bon flight it is showing about $900 plus. Seems like a bargain flying from MIA
$337.90Total cost

It's every weekend from April 19th to Jun 21st - all Saturday flights. Seems like most of the Friday flights are $342 also. I used a 7 day window.

The MIA-ATL leg is very underpriced (for what reason only the Delta computer knows, to compete with another airline probabally). When this leg is combined with another leg, the price reduction is applied to the whole booking.

Looks like a nice way to get to BON and have a mileage run to boot! Good find, I will cross post this over at FT.

All the best, James

James, what is FT?

Do you mean BT (Bonaire Talk)?

Do you mean BT (Bonaire Talk)?

Oh, wait, maybe you mean flyertalk?

I assume airlines monitor that site and address publicized anomalies or glitches?

Yes, sorry I was obscure, I meant FlyerTalk.

It's a forum where folks comiserate about how many zillion miles they fly and what a PITA it is. And (most importantly) what little tips make the best of the airline system. Most FTers know the airfare rules better than the booking agents.

Mileage Runs are flights that earn the most butt-in-seat miles for the least amount of money. They're purely to rack up miles, but it is a bonus if it goes to someplace cool. When FT members come across these airline errors, they post them before the airline figures out their algorithms have made a boo-boo.

It's well known the airlines DO monitor FT, but mostly to help catch their mistakes... :)

Yeah that's what I meant. I was just trying to tacitly suggest that maybe it not be posted to FT, so that SBers could be the first oinkers to the trough before or in case the airline thinks it necessary to fix any anomaly they might find. :crafty:

Weeelll....since I've been busy, and didn't post it in the "Mileage Runs" part of FT...the doors open for all the Scubaboarders to get a shot of the cheap fares!

All the best, James

I used ITAsoftware airfare matrix to look at April, May, and June. This fare is available from Sat April 19, thru Sat, June 21 for a 1 week stay. Going to ATL on a Friday for an overnight and then to BON on Sat is $4. more......plus hotel of course, or; one could leave MIA at 6:30am on Sat., but I think that's too tight a connection.............Happy Shopping!
