Next May 17th we (wife and I) have sublet a buddies time share for a week in Delray Beach. What are the recommendations for drift and wreck dives and dive boat (nitrox preferred) operators? It looks like the drive from Jupiter to Miami is no problem and we plan on taking one day down to Largo for the Speigle Grove. 130' max on the depth please. We have done a couple drift dives off west palm and thoroughly enjoyed that, but we have become enamored with wreck dives (none penetration) and would like to focus on those this trip.

Thanks alot :)

Have you checked out the local offerings there? I think the reefs there are less travelled, and the wreck of the Budweiser Bar would fit your description. I have gotten nitrox fills from Splashdown Divers, but there are other operators in the marina.
Also, there are a number of artificial (and natural) wrecks off of Pompano/Deerfield. These include the Noula Express and the Sea Emperor. You might want to take a look at Ned DeLoach's "Diving Guide to Underwater Florida" for a few ideas, too.

Thanks, I've got a copy of "Diving Guide to Underwater Florida" great book, used it for diving the keys. I just wanted to get some personal insights to go along with the info in the book.:)
