Ahh... must have missed that one. Last night I'm pretty sure that JC was the only one on the rebreather.
He seems to do that allot. I saw some Britannic 98 video and he was the only one on a rebreather..and I got to see him bolt for the down line when his computer malfunctioned.

I'll confirm it, the blonde lady was single tank on the first dive and on a rebreather for the second. And John mentioned that the expert had to surface as he reached his max bottom time with OC but that they could stay longer on their rebreathers. Watching the blonde was the most interestign part of the show.

You'd think they could at least have let the local expert use a best mix of nitrox and a set of doubles to hang in there with them longer. But then that would not have allowed them to showcase their technological superiority.

The best part of the show for us was seeing Bermuda again. And they used the same local dive op we used when we were there. Like watching a home movie - a few "Hey, I remember that" moments interspersed with lots of boring bits.

LOL. I can almost hear the writers using that phrasing in the next show. ;)

I agree. My wife and I are contemplating another trip to Bermuda in April, 2005. It was fun to see the places we visited last time.

In addition, the wreck they were on looked interesting enough to warrant a dive.

I think Im in love with that blonde...!

So their secret plan worked on at least one viewer. ;)

I agree with most of what has been said. Still, its cool that the show exists at all. John C has done well as the host. I do miss Kohler. Who is that awful woman? She ruins the entire experience with that false enthusiasim.
