so a YEAR OLD video proves that in 2025 the reefs still look the same? As I do not do video, I have no video to show but below is a picture

My observation from December/January: Everything south of Ras Banas is deader than dead. Recent postings on Taucher.net suggest that coral bleaching has extended as far north as Safaga with the majority of coral dead.

A cursory review of my videos, as well as these and many others found online show occasional bleaching and even some areas of extensive stretches of long dead corals. It's important for people to see these videos and provide their own so that an easily searchable visual record of reef health exists online. Repeating wild claims without providing visual proof is useless at best and irresponsible at worst.
 
Now if I had spoken of the reefs in Hurghada you would be right, but I was talking about the dive sites south of Ras Banas, which is roughly 500km away from HRG. And I did comment somewhere on SB that when we spend the last couple of days after our LoB in Makadi that the reefs there where in a better condition than in the south.
