I was born lazy, so I got a long stick to change the channels....

Wow Freddy, We did the same thing! Grab stick, hit child upside the head with said stick, child crawls to TV and changes the channel.

If you had 3 kids, then you could assign a channel to each one and whack whichever child corresponded to the channel you wanted to see at the time.

Channel surfing during commercials was a blast
