Gratuitous usage suggestion:

I have a few of Dive Rite's version and I use one as a "Pony Pocket" (TM ). The thigh strap goes around the bottle and the belt loop attaches to the neck loop of the stage strap. Makes a great place to stow oddball, items (like my drink pouch) without cluttering up my standard pocket organization.
