Am planning to go to AquaV next Sunday July 30 (weather permitting).

Balikan po since I have work on Monday.

Will be travelling alone so if any of you guys would like to hitch a ride, it would be OK...although is it ok if I ask for a small amount just to cushion the cost of gasoline? Not much naman, maybe the cost of the one-way trip(commute) going to Anilao? I think I read the amount on another thread but can't remember how much. :)

My road itinerary will be: Wilson St., San Juan -> Ortigas or Shaw (either of them) -> EDSA -> SLEX. So I can pick you up anywhere along that direction.

After Star Tollway I don't know na (can't remember na since once lang ako nakapunta sa Anilao--during my first Dive-out last April)...hehe...but will ask AquaV for directions.

How much cash do you reckon should I bring? Or do AquaV accept plastic?

TIA to everybody...

clgsamson:
Aquav accepts plastics...maybe don't ask for gas money, I don't (but that's only me:)).

ps - ask for dive money instead:D

:D voluntary lang naman...am still going to Anilao anyway so it really doesn't matter ....hehe

they accept plastic but only for the resort charges. the boat fee and DM fee cannot be paid using credit card.

Pushed through to AquaV last Sunday...Had no group though so had to do 3 dives on my own (with DM Abet)....we used the rubber speed boat, hahah, terrifying!....like riding a roller coaster without the safety belts--resulted back pains due to multiple traumatic lift-then-crash episodes while seating on the boat....went to Kelby's, Twin Rocks and Koala--all shallow dives, 71 ft deepest....lots of firsts for me (only my second divetrip)...hehe

financially painful (since i'm alone), but fun nevertheless!.... :)

Hi Dave!
Didn't make it this time but I will look forward for occasions like this one for future weekends.
When are you planing to go again?

Luke

did you notice the condemning stares of the "bangkeros" when you boarded that rubber boat? :)

haha, yes, barely...very busy kasi on thinking on how to ride and sit on the boat....quite strong waves and no stepboards....haha
