Hey everyone, I'm currently puttin together a seminar for divers about streamlining etc. What this post is about is posting your pics of either the worst diving in or out of the water or the best this includes things like danglies, and hose routing, trim etc and isn't limited to any sort of diving it could be rec or tech don't matter

Please note I will be borrowing this pictures for a presentation and they will not go farhter than a classroom.

Thanks in Advance

Alex

Whoa! These are my pics. My dangly buddy. No royalties required. But if you use them, you have to post the presentation here for everyone to see. Go get them in the DF thread. :D

Well.. I dive both singles and doubles with different wings, but by far this is the most streamlined configuration I dive.

No danglies, no problems with any annoying Taco effect on the wing, no hose routing issues to contend with and an absolute minimum number of failure points....well ok...maybe one - I could eliminate the quick release buckle (SS weightbelt buckle) on the left shoulder strap.

The underwater speed possible with this configuration is phenomenal and in fact you can move fast enough to make the hoses vibrate quite dramatically in your slipstream.

If nothing else, it shows where diving used to be regarding streamlining and highlights how bad it has gotten with modern "recreational" equipment.

You need more than that. Anyone with children can tell you it's not enough to say "don't do this... don't do that". Kids (and most adults) learn best when told "don't do this.....DO that...."

You need pictures of swimming Christmas trees AND divers who have all their gear sorted. First point out the problem, then point out the solution.

C'mon, DA, you could always get rid of one of those hoses, and make the other much smaller in diameter, smaller 1st stage, etc.

Just teasing you because I'm jealous.
