The damage is next to the O-ring. I don't like doubt when 3000 PSI is involved. The definition of a bad day would be to go down to 80', then have a hard drawn breath, only to glance at your pressure gauge and see ZERO.

With the valve behind your head, you'll never see your air streaming out.
