In order not to create a new topic, I will add interesting information here.

Received a patent for two three-stage air pressure regulators, which are 50 years old.
The figure shows the principle of operation and specifications, version 1.
The design of the regulator is designed so that it can only work with a full-face mask.
Version 2, provides operation without a full-face mask with a nozzle diameter of 4-6 mm and an air pressure of 430 bar.

How air is reduced in stage.
The first stage lowers the high pressure to a flow pressure of 1 atmosphere.
The second stage raises the flow pressure of 1 atmosphere to the external water pressure.
The third stage supplies air with the pressure of the water column.

If it is difficult to determine the difference between a two-stage reduction system and a three-stage reduction system. In the three-stage regulator, you can take a deep breath at any depth and the regulator will easily supply air. The deeper you go, the easier it is to breathe. In the three-stage regulator, there is no air density during inhalation.
