Notice the finish on the Dacor Enduro first stage looks more like stainless steel than chrome brass, can anyone confirm this?

Looks like matte plated brass to me.

I’ve worked on thousands of Pacers, I’ve never seen a stainless one.

marine stainless doesn’t have enough iron to attract a magnet.

Your one looks really a bit like steel, but at least according to the Dacor Catalogs of the 90ties they have never been introduced as stainless steel 1sts and the ones I have are clearly brass chrome coated...........
