I recently bought three Dacor regs at an estate sale. One is a Olympic 400 and the others are a Pacer and a Pacer XL. All have bad diaphragms. Can anyone tell me of a replacement diaphragm for any of these regs? I also posted this on the basic forum so there might end up being two identical posts.

I have a Dacor Pacer XL with a enviromental kit. I have had the regulator since 1983, great regulator.... But, since MARES had taken over Dacor parts for my Dacor were getting hard to find. I think you might have less aggravations rebuilding something a little newer. I went with a Mares Proton Ice with the enviromental kit two years ago.

What's an environmental kit?

On the Dacor regs the environemntal kit normally consisted of a new cap for the ambient pressure chamber that accommodated an additional diaphragm to retain silicone oil. The oil itself was pretty famous for expanding when the reg was out in the sun and leaking some oil was pretty common - much the same problem as environmental silicone in environmentally protected piston first stages.

1st or 2nd stage diaphrams?

DiveSite: Second stage diaphragms. I'm looking for something which will interchance.
