OUCH. Of course you had to post the pictures, and of course I HAD to look at them. OUCH.

I have family in town this weekend so I won't be diving, but maybe can meet up with you all at Vortex for a beer and a burger? I'll be out that way Saturday afternoon, it would be nice to put some faces with names.

Hope Morrison is clear for you. Free diving is SO much nicer! Tom good luck on your classes, sounds like a crowd!

Darcy - all the group from Montgomery will be at the Grandview Lodge at Vortex on Saturday and Sunday morning. We will be doing a BBQ and general get-together about sundown. You are welcome to join us..

We're definately diving Cypress Saturday and should get back to Vortex sometime between 3-5 in the afternoon. Hope to see you there darcy Tom, I know you guys will be cookin it up - we'll drop in to toast to you guys

Right on That would be most excellent. Looks like water levels are high on the Aucilla - which I think is the closest river we can check - if its still clear as high as it looks to be, then it should be clear pretty much anytime(like Cypress).

I'd still like to scope out Merrits Mill Pond too. I know we cant go into the caves, but I'm still unclear on access to JB via boat... JB is supposed to have a pretty rad cavern with a rocky/sandy bottom that isn't so prone to be kicked up(unlike the rest of the caves on the pond).

So many places... I need to move to FL, arg!

I might be down if my regs and gauge ever gets out of the shop. Still waiting on the new SPG. If its done Friday I will be down. If not it looks like the next weekend for me. Maybe I should just pull it out and get it done at Vortex.

Hi, Recommendation from WaterDawg : I would like to dive this weekend in the springs. Unfortunately, he is not free. I would like to try something a bit shallow as I have a friend coming along and he hasn't been diving since the hurricane....

If I can join you guys on Sunday, that would be great!... Would you be diving the cypress or the morrison? And anywhere on the website I can get the springs' address as I probably try to use mapquest to get driving directions....

Looking forward to meet you guys... heard you are a bunch of nice guys and gals (Waterdawg assure me that you would welcome me with open arms..heehee)

Once on I-10 go west till exit 96 the go right for 5 miles it will be on you right hand side there are signs.

I really want to go to Morrison, we'll see.
