You still have to maintain them but they are far better than the cheap 1 use one.

What do you do to maintain them besides rinsing them?
 
Rinse and dry is all I do. Make sure to rinse out of the sheath and dry completely and open
 
I have shears, but need a good sheath that has some sort of way to keep them in. What's the best choice for a sheath to keep the shears on my waist webbing where I want them???

A little off topic, does anyone know what the small round hole is for? It cuts 4/5ths of 5/8ths of stuff all, or does it have another use?

I do wipe them dry and leave them open to dry fully, when I remember to take them out of the sheath when rinsing. :D

I use a benchmade H20 on my fore arm. It's EXTREMELY sharp and i also use their knives for hunting etc, they have the best warranty in the business, by far! Also use a U.S. DIVERS 8in knife on the inside of my leg for those deep night dives :saw::jaws:
